These Terms set out the agreement between you and SoPlayer IPTV ("we", "our", "us") covering the website and the streaming service (together, the "Service").
Opening an account, buying a plan or otherwise using the Service means you accept them, together with the Privacy Policy. If any of it does not suit you, do not use the Service — and if something here is unclear, ask us before you buy rather than after.
1. Who may subscribe
You must be at least 18 years of age to subscribe. By using the Service you confirm that you are, and that you are legally able to enter into a contract. If you are signing up for a company rather than yourself, you confirm you are authorised to commit it to these Terms.
2. Your account
Some parts of the Service need an account. If you open one, you agree to:
- Give us information that is accurate and complete
- Keep it up to date — an old email address is how activation codes get lost
- Keep your credentials to yourself
- Tell us at once if someone else appears to be using your account, at help@soplayeriptv.com
Whatever happens under your account is your responsibility. We may suspend or close an account opened on false information.
3. Paying for it
How the plans work
Plans are bought as a fixed term — one, three, six or twelve months — and paid for up front, with the term and connection count you choose set out on the Pricing page. Nothing renews automatically and no payment method is kept on file to be charged again: when a term ends, it simply ends unless you choose to buy another.
If prices change
Prices can change, but never during a term you have already paid for — a new price applies only to a term you buy after it takes effect, so nothing you have bought becomes more expensive part way through.
The free trial
We may, at our sole discretion, offer a 24-hour free trial is offered to new users at our discretion. It takes no payment and no card, which also means there is nothing to cancel when it ends. We may change or withdraw the offer at any time.
Getting money back
Every plan carries a 30-day money-back guarantee, and the detail of how it works is in the Refund Policy. That policy also lists the situations it does not cover, so it is worth reading before you buy rather than after.
4. What you may not do
Use the Service lawfully and as these Terms describe. Specifically, do not:
- Use it in any way that breaks a law that applies to you
- Pass your access to people your plan does not cover — buy the connections instead
- Reverse engineer, decompile or otherwise tamper with any part of it
- Point bots, scrapers or other automated tools at it
- Send or post anything unlawful, defamatory, harmful or infringing
- Interfere with the Service's operation or the infrastructure behind it
- Resell or redistribute access without our written agreement — there is a reseller programme for that
5. Anything you post
Where the Service lets you submit something — a review, a message, a file — what you submit remains your responsibility. Submitting it gives us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, show, copy and distribute it in connection with the Service.
You confirm that anything you submit is yours to submit and infringes nobody else's intellectual property or privacy.
6. What belongs to us
The Service — its design, software, trademarks and technology — belongs to SoPlayer IPTV and is protected by copyright and trademark law.
What you buy is a limited, non-transferable, revocable licence to use it personally and non-commercially. Copying, modifying, selling or building on any part of it needs our written permission first.
7. Ending the agreement
We may suspend or close your access, with or without notice, where we believe you have:
- Broken these Terms
- Acted fraudulently, abusively or unlawfully
- Not paid what is owed
- Given false account information
Closure for one of those reasons does not create a right to a refund beyond what is set out in the Refund Policy. Terms that are meant to outlast the agreement — liability and intellectual property among them — carry on afterwards.
8. What we do not promise
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
In plain terms: we do not promise the Service will never be interrupted, never carry a fault, or be perfectly secure, and we make no guarantee about the accuracy or completeness of content reaching you through it. If it stops working we will fix it or refund you — what we will not do is pretend downtime is impossible.
9. The limit of what we owe you
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SOPLAYER IPTV AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Lost data
- Interruptions or downtime
- Lost profit or revenue
- What other people do with the Service
- Other loss connected with your use of it
That applies whether or not the loss was foreseeable and whether or not we had been warned it might happen. Some countries do not permit exclusions of this kind, and where that is so, this clause does not take away rights the law gives you.
Whatever the claim, the most we can be liable for in total is what you actually paid us in the 30 days before it arose.
10. Which law applies
These Terms are governed by the law of the State of New York, United States, setting aside its conflict-of-laws rules, and the New York courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
11. If these Terms change
We may revise these Terms. Anything material is posted here and we may email you about it as well. Continuing to use the Service after a revision means accepting it, so the effective date at the top is worth checking now and then.
12. The other legal pages
These Terms sit alongside three others and are meant to be read with them:
